On September 23rd, 2025 Mayor Bruce Harrell Proposed the City of Seattle 2026 Budget. The 2026 Proposed Budget includes approximately $8.9 billion in overall appropriations, of which $2.0 billion are General Fund.
The 2026 Proposed budget largely maintains current service levels with reallocated resources toward several key strategic investments in Affordability, Public Safety, Response to Homlessness and a Federal Response.
